• The deep frying basket can be cleaned in the usual way in soapy
water.

Clean the housing after use with a slightly damp cloth.
2.4. Troubleshooting
Device is not working
• Check the power connection.
• Check the thermostat setting.
Other possible causes:
The appliance is fitted with a safety switch (7). This prevents the
heater from being accidentally switched on.
Check that the control element is correctly in place.
Overheating Protection
• If you should accidentally switch on your deep fryer when empty of
oil or fat, the overheating protection will automatically switch on. The
appliance is no longer ready to be used; unplug it.
• Only after the device has been left to cool down completely should
the “RESTART” button (8) on the rear of the control element be
operated in order to use the deep fryer again. For this, you should use
a plastic or wooden object at least 4 cm long.
