4. Commissioning
Check if the product and the components are intact and if the device is working
properly when using it for the first time Take the device out of the package and
remove all the packaging material. Open the battery compartment at the bottom
of the wireless foot switch and insert the provided 3V CR2032 type battery cor
-
rectly. Pay attention to the correct polarity of the contacts!
Then connect the power strip to a properly installed socket. As soon as the red
LED next to the ON/OFF button starts flashing in 1-sec. intervals, this means that
the wireless foot switch has been connected successfully.
If the red LED next to the ON/OFF button does not glow, then you need to pair
the foot switch again with the socket. Follow these steps to do this:

Switch the power strip off. Then press and hold the ON/OFF button for about 5
seconds till the red LED starts flashing.

Then press the foot switch button. The red LED on the power strip then flashes
quickly and goes off again. The pairing process is now complete.
Once the pairing process is completed, press the foot switch only. The four
sockets will be turned on or off depending on the previous state. Alternatively,
you can switch it on or off by briefly pressing the ON/OFF button on the power
strip. The two sockets to the left of the ON/OFF button are permanently on. After
successful pairing, the status LED indicates the status of the 4 switchable sockets.
If the LED is switched on, the 4 sockets are switched on. If the LED is switched off,
the sockets are also switched off.
Decoupling the foot switch
To decouple the foot switch, press and hold the ON/OFF button till the red LED
starts flashing slowly. Press and hold the button till the LED flashes quickly. The
decoupling is now complete. To pair the device again, follow the instructions in
the previous chapter "4 Commissioning".
5. Cleaning and Care
Disconnect the power strip from the mains socket before cleaning. Then dis-
connect all the connected loads and use a dry, soft cloth for cleaning. You can
use a hair brush, for example to remove the dust. Never use aggressive cleaning
agents, which may damage the housing or impair the function of the product.
