SETTINGS
You can allocate the DMX addresses to the moving head via the
control panel on top of the unit. Please keep in mind that the moving
head has
13
channels when it is connected to a controller. If you use
several units (Master-slave) you need to be aware of the following:
The address of the first unit is 1(001). For the second unit it is 1
+13
= 14(014) and for the third 14
+13
=
27(027) etc.
Make sure that the channels don’t overlap otherwise the units will not work properly. NB: If two units
have the same address, the both operate in the same way.
Once all units have got an address, you can start operation via the controller. The unit will recognize
immediately if it receives data or not. If it doesn’t receive any data, the LED will not flash. If the system
doesn’t work, check the XLR connectors and the leads. It is also possible that the controller is faulty.
Connect an end-of-line resistor of 120
Ω
/1W to the last unit in order to ensure proper data transmission.
