TxLD WIRING INSTRUCTIONS. 
 

 

     

Twin Twisted Pair connection between the TxLD mk2 units.

TxLD(B) Base Unit End

TxLD(K) Keyboard End

               

 

                   

Matrix End 

After connecting the twin twisted pair cable to the green IMO connector mount the TxLD to a wall if required 
and connect to the Tx1000 base unit keypad 2 connector with the serial lead supplied (SA-PL61-1). The 
TxLD does not require a power supply, it obtains its supply from the Tx1000 Base Unit.  
 

Keyboard End 

Before mounting the TxLD, connect the slave Keyboard power supply to the power entry on the TXLD and 
connect the slave keyboard cable to the DB9 connector. The keyboard will not need a separate power 
supply as it is now powered through the serial lead.  
 
The video connection will need to be made from the monitor output on the TX1000 Base Unit through the 
Slave Keyboard (for on-screen text) and on to a monitor.
