It is important that the child is in control of the floatability
and not the other way around.
• Remember that your child cannot remain static
in the water. Movement of arms and legs is necessary.
•
As a safety precaution, re-insert the initial number of floats
for your child when:
• Your child is playing by the water
• They are tired at the end of a swimming session
• You are teaching your child a new swimming technique
SIZE RECOMMENDATIONS
For best results and when and where possible, try on the Näj
swim vest, without the floats inserted before purchase. The Näj
should be a fit snug on the child’s body. Like a tight T-shirt.
On average, 14-16 months is the age when a child is mentally
and physically developed enough to be independent in a Näj
swim vest but learning to be independent in the water
can start well before 12 months.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Remove floats, rinse well in clean water and dry away from
direct heat in the shade after use.
WARNING
• Do not use if the Safety strap at the bottom of the Näj Swim
Vest is faulty or damaged.
•
Use only under constant competent adult supervision.
