If you are installing a Voice Service, the

Serial Number Dialog Box

opens.

This dialog box does not open when installing only the Control Center.

Figure 2-2.

Serial Number Dialog Box

The installation program generates the serial number from the hardware key
connected to the parallel port of the computer. If the key is not connected and
you are installing a Voice Service, you cannot continue. The installation
program displays an error message and then stops.

Record the software serial number for future use. It is required when ordering
registration files or software upgrades from
