Nautica 250

Installation Guide

The Nautica

TM

 250 is a high performance router that provides 

both IP and IPX connectivity over the Integrated Services Digital 
Network (ISDN) for telecommuters and small office, home office 
(SOHO) workers. This guide describes the physical installation of 
the Nautica 250.

For basic configuration of the Nautica 250, start the Installation 
Assistant by loading the setup software on the accompanying CD 
(for instructions, see 

page 9

). Nautica Wizard, a Microsoft 

Windows

®

 95/98 and Windows NT

®

 application, is used to 

perform configuration tasks. Experienced network users can 
troubleshoot the Nautica 250 using the Bay Command Console 
(BCC), a command line interface, which is available via Telnet or 
HyperTerminal (see step 5 on 

page 8

).
