Installing Airflow Modules
Bay Networks recommends that you install an airflow module in each unused slot
in the chassis. You can order these modules from your Bay Networks distributor.
To install an airflow module:
1.
Remove the filler panel from the chassis slot where you intend to install
the module (see
Figure 2-3
).
2.
Orient the module with the large direction arrow pointing up (
Figure 2-6
)
and align the top and bottom edges of the module with the metal guides in
the chassis slot.

3.
Slide the airflow module into the chassis.
4.
Replace the filler panel over the slot (Figure 2-7).
