Setting Up the Compounder

Operator Manual for the Baxter ExactaMix 2400 Compounder

Page 65

While continuing to hold the inlet near the source container:

Check that the number on the inlet label matches the port number.

Check that the product attached to the inlet matches the information on the

screen.

At the ingredient detail window, tap

Prime

Check that a calibration bag is attached.

At the

Priming pump

message, tap

Message

Watch and feel for fluid moving through the inlet that is in your hand.

When an ingredient is being primed, its button becomes yellow. The screen

displays an animation of the process.
