Before starting up the boiler, check compliance with
the type of gas to be used.

Gas train/burner assembly
The gas train/burner assembly is factory-set for nominal
and reduced flow rate pressure (see gas characteristics on
page 33). Should the burner setting pressure be modified,
please proceed as follows:
- Loosen the pressure test point screw located on the gas
manifold and check the burner setting pressure using a
suitable pressure gauge.
Settings and Checks
- First set the nominal pressure, then the minimum pressure.
- Never set the nominal pressure higher than indicated.
IMPORTANT: All settings must be adjusted by
qualified staff only. Wait until the pressure stabilises
before making any adjustments.
MULTIBLOC Gas Valve
Setting the NOMINAL operating conditions
- Start the burner ensuring that the two-stage thermostat is
«on demand» so that both valves on the Multibloc will
open.
- Setting the NOMINAL operating conditions is done through
the adjustment screw (a) on the pressure regulator.
- Set the value according to the type of gas to be used (see
gas characteristics on page 33).
Caution
- Knob (b) for «setting the NOMINAL flow rate» should
always be set to the maximum opening position (if required,
loosen screw (c) and turn the knob towards the + sign).
- Tighten screw (c).
Setting the REDUCED operating conditions
- Lower the two-stage thermostat setting so that only the 1
st
stage remains «on demand» and thus only the 1
st
valve
will open.
- Loosen screw (c) on knob (b) about one turn and adjust
the flow rate through the serrated ring (d) located at the
base of the coil.
Turning ring (d) to the right will reduce the flow rate;
turning it to the left will increase the flow rate. In this
way adjust the reduced pressure (at the injectors) to the
specified value (see gas characteristics on page 33).
