3. Engine start procedures.
•
Make sure engine is in neutral.
•
Press the on/off; wait to hear 2 "beeps" Then press the start button until you hear
the engine running.
•
When the engine is running check to make sure you have water coming out of the
exhaust.
•
To stop the engine press the stop button until the engine has stopped.
•
An alarm will sound after you stop the engine. Press the on/off once more to turn off
the ignition
Should you hear an engine alarm during operation, check the tachometer to identify the
reason for the alarm (over heating/oil pressure/battary) immediately shut down the
engine-CALL Technical support.
All our yacht engines run with diesel fuel. There is a diesel filler cap under the small
cockpit floor panel at the stbd helm which is clearly marked "DIESEL".... DO NOT
PUT WATER IN HERE.
Fuel level instrument shows the upper part of the tank with a
large error and helps not to be left without fuel, and not to see the exact flow rate.
Average fuel consumption 10 liters per hour
