This leaflet is intended to inform users of SofLens® hydrophilic soft contact lenses how to
wear and care for their lenses.

Description and wear application
The SofLens 59 and SofLens Multi-Focal lenses are designed for daily wear with a
replacement period as prescribed by the eye care professional.
The SofLens 38 and SofLens Toric lenses are designed for daily wear or extended wear for
1-7 days between removal, as recommended by the eye care professional.
When reusing lenses they must be cleaned, rinsed and disinfected between removal and
reinsertion. Always follow your eye care practitioner’s recommended wear schedule and
replacement periods.
These lenses are supplied sterile and are intended by the manufacturer for reuse for up to
30 days. They have been sterilized by steam.
If the packaging is damaged or opened DO NOT USE.
Insertion and removal instructions
Before handling lenses, always wash and dry hands thoroughly avoiding perfumed or
medicated soaps. Pour the lens into the palm of your hand. Make sure the lens is the
right way out.
Inspect your lens before inserting and do not insert if scratched or damaged.
To remove your lens, make sure your hands are clean and dry, use your finger to slide the
lens down to the white part of the eye and remove it. Use a rewetting drop if the lens is
difficult to remove.
