FW version 1.5.x or higher:
The total measuring range is freely configurable
–
independent from the Singleturn resolution (6001h).
ATTENTION:
The number of distinguishable revolutions (= 6002h / 6001h)
may exceed the physical number of distinguishable
revolutions (see section 1.2
– object 6502h). However, in
that case the device works as a quasi-Multiturn encoder. I.e.
the actual position value is not available after power off/on.
The new value is calculated according to the physical
number of distinguishable revolutions.
