7) Lift the chimney section up to the framework and then fasten it to
the framework using the 4 x M4 metric screws supplied. The chimney
section should be fixed to the existing holes in the framework.
IMPORTANT: Do not tighten these screws completely at this stage.
IMPORTANT: If you are going to connect the cooker hood to external
ducting, then you must follow the “Connecting to external ducting”
section on page 24 before proceeding with the steps below.

Raise the hood to the framework and locate the 4 M5 screws on the
bottom of the framework into the 4 holes that are around the outside
of the motor housing. Slide the hood over to the right so the hood
locks against the framework and then fully tighten the 4 M5 screws.
IMPORTANT: YOU MUST STILL SUPPORT THE HOOD FROM
UNDERNEATH UNTIL THE 4 M5 SCREWS ARE FULLY TIGHTENED.
9) Remove the masking tape from the chimney sections.
10) Remove the 4 M4 metric screws that you tightened slightly in step
7 and then slide the upper chimney section downwards.
11) Follow the “Electrical Connection” instructions on pages 15 – 16.
IMPORTANT: Do not turn on the electricity supply to the
appliance at this stage of the installation process.
