The digital display

On models with a digital display, when you
are adjusting the thermostat position, the
display will flash and indicate the set
temperature.
o
When the flashing stops, the setting of the
temperature is complete and it is stored in
the appliance’s memory.
o
Please allow time for the appliance to
reduce down to the desired temperature.
o
Each time the appliance is switched on for the first time, the
digital display (G) indicates a temperature of -16°C and flashes.
o
This value will remain on the display until the actual temperature
in the appliance drops below -16°C.
o
The flashing will then stop and the digital display will indicate the
actual temperature within the freezer.
The freezer compartment
The freezer compartment is suitable for storing and freezing food.
o
The freezer compartment temperature must have already
reached -18 degrees centigrade (or lower) before you attempt to
store food that is already frozen or freezing fresh food.
o
The freezer compartment is only able to freeze a certain quantity
of food at one time. You should not attempt to freeze more than
25 kilograms of fresh food within a 24 hour period.
o
Your appliance allows freezing in all drawers, but not more than
7 kg in any particular drawer, and 4 kg in the bottom drawer.
o
Warm food should be allowed to cool down before you attempt
to freeze it. If you place warm food in the freezer compartment,
then the increased humidity will cause quicker ice formation and
increase the amount of power that the appliance uses.
o
The guidance of the food manufacturer should be followed, in
regard to the maximum storage time.
o
Thawed foods must not be frozen for a second time.
o
Do not let the already frozen packages touch the fresh ones.
