Battery
When using the tool, always be careful and maintain a firm and balanced position.
Where possible, avoid working on wet, slippery ground or in any case on uneven
or steep ground that does not guarantee stability for the operator.
Never run when operating the machine. Walk with particular attention to the
surface of the floor and any obstacles that may exist.
Do not operate the machine in poor lighting conditions. Use it only with sunlight or
good artificial light.
Assess the potential hazards of the surface you will cut and take all necessary
precautions to ensure your own safety, especially on sloping, uneven, slippery or
unstable surfaces.
Do not use the tool if you are unable to hold it with both hands or keep it steady on
your legs while working.
Never allow children or persons unfamiliar with these instructions to use the tool.
Never use the tool:
With people, especially children, and animals around.
If the user is tired or sick, or has taken medications, ingested drugs, alcohol or any
substance that can delay their reflexes and compromise their judgment.
If the guards are damaged or have been removed.
• Press the unlock button from the battery and remove it from the charger.
• When using the charger repeatedly to charge several batteries, allow the charger to
cool before charging another battery. It is recommended that the cooling period not be
less than 30 minutes.
NOTE
: If a discharged battery is left immediately, or after a few minutes, the green light
is on, it is likely that the battery is very hot, so you must wait for it to cool down. It is also
possible that it is in poor condition or has reached the end of its useful life. In these last
two cases, it is recommended to replace the battery.
CAUTION:
Hold the tool and battery cartridge firmly when installing or removing the
cartridge. Otherwise, the tool may fall out, causing property damage or personal injury.
Always disconnect the tool before installing or uninstalling the battery cartridge. To
remove the battery, press the release button and pull it out.
IMPORTANT:
Do not force the battery cartridge when installing. If the cartridge does
not slide easily, it is because it is not correctly installed.
