sollte unter der EpiPoint® ein Baumwolltrikotschlauch getragen

stellen (z. B. Zunahme der Beschwerden), suchen Sie bitte
umgehend Ihren Arzt auf.
• Eine Kombination mit anderen Produkten muss vorher mit dem
behandelnden Arzt abgesprochen werden.
• Bitte lassen Sie das Produkt nicht mit fett- und säurehaltigen
Mitteln, Salben und Lotionen in Berührung kommen.
• Garantie wird gewährt im Rahmen der gesetzlichen Be-
stimmungen.
• Das Produkt kann problemlos über den Hausmüll entsorgt
werden.
• Hinsichtlich bestehender Rückgabemöglichkeiten zur ord-

Wir empfehlen EpiPoint® separat bei 30° C mit einem Feinwasch-
mittel per Hand zu waschen. Um die Funktionsfähigkeit der
Klettverschlüsse lange Zeit zu erhalten und um Beschädigungen
zu vermeiden, empfehlen wir die Verschlüsse vor der Wäsche zu
schließen. Beim Trocknen nicht direkter Hitze (z. B. Heizung,
Sonneneinstrahlung usw.) aussetzen.
Wir haben das Produkt im Rahmen unseres integrierten Quali-

Thank you for choosing a product from Bauerfeind. EpiPoint® is a
high-quality medical product.
Please read through these instructions for use carefully and if
you have any questions contact your doctor, medical retailer or
our customer service department.
EpiPoint® is a product for treating in
fl ammation of the tendons
on the outside of the elbow (epicondylitis). It works by applying
pressure to the affected forearm muscle. The armband consists
of a plastic liner with an integrated steel strap. Rotation of the
adjustable pad enables the armband to be worn on both the right
and left arms. The pressure of this right/left adjustable pad can
be adjusted with the graduated Velcro® fastening.
EpiPoint® must be individually adapted to the patient by a
trained orthopaedic technician in order to gain the maximum
bene fi ts and optimal wearing comfort.
Indications
• In fl ammation of the tendons on the outside of the elbow at
the lateral epicondyle of the upper arm, e.g. tennis elbow
(epicondylitis humeri)
Side effects
Side effects involving the body as a whole, have not been reported
to date. Correct fi tting is assumed. Any supports and orthoses

applied externally to the body can, if tightened excessively, lead
to localized pressure or, rarely, constrict the underlying blood
vessels or nerves.
Contraindications
Hypersensitive reactions harmful to health have not been reported
to date. In the following conditions such aids should only be fi tted
and applied after consultation with your medical provider:
1. Skin disorders/injuries in the relevant part of the body,
particularly if in fl ammation is present. Likewise, any raised
scars with swelling, redness and excessive heat build-up.
