O&M Manual for PowerKit

M26 Series Diesel Engine



Simple overall check



Check the hose clamps



Check the hoses and lines



Replace engine oil



Run engine to warm oil slightly.



Stop engine.



Loosen drain nut 2. Drain oil into

the container.



When engine is equipped with

manual press oil pump 3, users

can also use the manual press oil

pump to drain the oil.



Add proper amount of oil at fill port



Check the oil level after finished.

Start engine and let it run at slow

idle for 1 minute. Check for oil

leaks at engine oil filter. Tighten

only enough to stop leaks.

CAUTION:

Be careful when draining hot engine oil.

Hot engine oil can cause burns to un-

protected skin.

NOTE:

Oil filters must also be changed at every

oil change, please see Replace Oil Fil-

ter below for further instruction.
