Section 3. Using the Raturn
To use the Raturn system, install an animal in the system and turn the Raturn on.
Collaring an Awake
Animal
1.
Form a loop with the collar and tighten it a few notches.
CAUTION:
Make sure that
the collar is looped so that the collar lock is facing toward the outside of the collar.

Slide the collar over the animal’s head. Tighten the collar by sliding a pinky finger un-
derneath the collar and tightening over your finger. The collar is tight enough when it
is snug against your finger.
3.
Clip the excess length of collar with a pair of small wire clippers or scissors. Leave
only a few links so that you have a place to grip if it becomes necessary to tighten the
collar later.
4.
The animal is now ready to be hooked to the Raturn.
