— Instructions for Everyday Use:
The following instructions should enable you to exercise optimal care and use our KV1 coffee machine.
Remember, though, that these instructions constitute only a small part of the proper instructions for use.
Thus, make sure you carefully read and observe safety instructions contained in our instructions for use.
As a rule, continuous hygiene in everyday work may be guaranteed only when the appliance is cleaned
daily. Taking the above into account, we recommend to conduct full cleaning procedure after approx. 180
beverage preparations or 80 rinsing cycles. Make sure you also consider cleaning of the dregs container.
The two rinsing functions described below are part of fast, general appliance cleaning process; it takes 30
seconds to execute them. To execute more intensive cleaning, we recommend cleaning programs, which are
available in the Menu, in 'Maintenance' section.
Rinsing of the Brewing Unit
During this rinsing process, the brewing unit is rinsed with water for approx. 30 seconds to remove superficial
soiling.
Rinsing of the Milk System
During this rinsing process, the milk system is rinsed with water for approx. 30 seconds to remove superficial
soiling.
Use this option to rinse the milk
system.
Use this option to rinse the
brewing unit.
The rinsing process ends after
approx. 30 seconds.
