The practical 3-sided splatter shield around the Ceran plate prevents splattering of
grease or juices from food products.
The useable grilling surface is marked by the white line. Heat is evenly distributed
over this area.
Before placing food products on the grilling surface, coat it with a small amount of
cooking oil. Use oil with a high level of heat resistance, such as rapeseed or
sunflower seed oil.
Fatty meats require smaller amounts of oil; for fish and vegetables, more oil can be
placed on the grilling surface. By adding oil, you can prevent food from sticking to the
grilling surface or from scorching.
After grilling, remove the remains of
food products using the ceran
scraper to lead it to the drippings tray
at the front of the device.
Regularly remove and empty the
drippings tray. Wash it as needed,
and replace it in the device.
CAUTION!
Never use the device without the drippings tray.
To avoid the taste and aroma of one food product transferring to another, remove any
remains from the grilling surface before grilling the next food products.
Grill in the following order: meat or fish, then vegetables.
To braise food products or to retain their natural juices and aroma, use aluminium foil.
When grilling, avoid the use of sugars or liquids containing sugar. If sugar is
necessary, wrap the food product in aluminium foil.
NOTE!
If sugar, syrup or other substances get onto the grilling surface, remove them
carefully using the Ceran ceramic plate scraper before the grilling surface cools:
food remains (especially sugar and syrup) are difficult to remove when cool.
