5.3 Operation
•
First connect the supplied cable to the connection box (back side of the device),
then connect the plug to the socket. The power supply red lamp will come on.
•
The plate needs approx. 10 minutes to reach the maximum temperature
(approx. 100 °C).
•
When the temperature is reached, the thermostat disconnects and the temperature
maintaining green lamp comes on. When the heating plate cools down, the tempera-
ture maintaining green lamp comes off, the thermostat connects, and the device is
reheated. Such operation method protects the heating plate from overheating.
•
When the green light comes on, the device may be disconnected from the power
supply and after disconnecting the cable may be placed in selected location. The
heating plate releases heat for approx. 1 hour after disconnecting the power supply.
•
Keep in mind that before placing the food products on the heating plate the warming
tray must be placed on even and stable surface in order to avoid slipping or falling of
food dishes.
•
The dishes of flat bottom and not too high edges are perfect for maintaining the food
temperature. High edges cause bigger heat losses. The food products remain warm
longer when under the lid.
CAUTION!
The warming tray is not designed for cooking or maintaining heat of food
products directly on the plate. Always use the dishes!
CAUTION!
In order to avoid damages of valuable high-grade stainless steel do not slide
placed bowls and plates. The porcelain and similar materials may cause
scratches.
•
After using the device disconnect the supply cable from the socket (pull out the plug)
and from the device.
