5.2 Installation and connection

Discard the complete packing material after unpacking the device.
•
Before use multi pan should be cleaned thoroughly (please see point
6.2 Cleaning
).
•
Place the unit on a flat, stable floor space which can support the weight and is not
sensitive to heat.
•
Not
at any time
should you place the device on an inflammable surface (such as:
table cloth, carpet, etc.).
•
You must not position the device near open fireplaces, electric ovens/arc furnaces,
furnaces/electric heaters or other heat sources.
•
You must always keep a safety distance of 15 cm to any object, item or wall.
•
The electrical circuit in the socket must be secured to at least 16A. Only connect the
unit directly to the wall socket; do not use any extension cords or power strips.
•
Position the device in such a way that the plug is easily accessible.
5.3 Operation
CAUTION!
Always be sure to mount the temperature control on the device before plugging
the plug into the socket. In order to switch off the device set the temperature
controller on “OFF” first and then pull the plug out of the socket.
1. First set the temperature scale on
OFF
and plumb the temperature controller into
the socket.
WARNING!
In case the temperature controller is not plugged in appropriately abnormal
heating can arise and lead to accidents and damage. Therefore the correct
connection of the temperature controller must be ensured.
