Possible Malfunctions

Malfunction Possible reason Solution
Insufficient cooling
efficiency. Appliance subject to direct
sunlight or a heat source
located in the vicinity. Move the appliance away
from heat sources.
Poor air circulation around
the appliance. Keep sufficient distance
from walls or other objects.
Too little clearance between
objects inside the appliance
or too many objects in the
appliance. Provide for sufficient
clearance between objects
inside the appliance;
remove the excess of
objects.
The compressor
does not switch off
automatically. Overfilled appliance. Remove the excess of
objects.
The appliance
operates loudly. The appliance is not placed
on even surface. Place the appliance on
even surface.
The appliance touches walls
or other objects. Keep sufficient distance
from walls or other objects.
The following phenomena are not malfunctions:
1. During normal operation, a sound of water flowing is heard. This is a sound of
coolant flowing through the installation.
2. Water vapour condensation on glass door in high air humidity conditions is a
normal occurrence. Wipe the water vapour out with a soft, dry cloth.
When malfunc tion c annot be removed:
- do not open the housi ng;
- infor m the ser vic e c ompany or c ontac t t he s upplier and pr ovide the foll owing data:
type of malf unction;
When malfunction cannot be removed:
– do not open the housing;
– inform the service company or contact the supplier and provide the following
data:
– type of malfunction;
– code number and serial number (to read from the rating plate of the
device).
