5.2 Installation and connection

Discard the complete packing material after unpacking the device.

Place the device on top of an even, safe and stable surface which supports the

weight of the device (at least 25 kg).

Not at any time should you place the device on an inflammable surface (such as:

table cloth, carpet, etc.).

You must not position the device near open fireplaces, electric ovens/arc furnaces,

furnaces/electric heaters or other heat sources.

Place the machine in its operating location, which should be on a leveled surface.

There should be adequate space around the machine for more accessibility in
operating control panel and install and remove mixing bowls.

Do not allow the rear vents to become blocked as this may result in overheating.

The electrical circuit in the socket must be secured to at least 16A. Only connect the

device directly to the wall socket; do not use any extension cords or power strips.

Place the device so that the plug is easily accessible and can be quickly removed

from its socket in case of necessity.

5.3 Operating

New  mixing  bowls  and  agitators  (beater,  whisk and  dough  hook) should be  thoroughly
washed with hot water and mild soap solution, and rinsed with clear water BEFORE first
use.  This  cleaning  procedure  should  also  be  followed  for  mixing  bowls  and  agitators
before whipping egg whites or whole eggs.

Use of the planetary whipping, kneading and mixing machine

It is the responsibility of the users to use the machine correctly within the recommended
limitations.

For operator safety, the machine is fitted with a mixing bowl guard which is electrically
interlocked to ensure that the machine cannot operate unless the guard is correctly
positioned and the mixing bowl is raised.

For additional safety the machine has a no volt release feature which means that in the
event of a power failure, the machine will only restart after the START button has been
pressed again. This arrangement ensures that when the supply is restored, the machine
cannot restart on its own.
