6.3 Descaling
Inappropriate water may lead to scale deposit in the water tank of the appliance.
These deposits may negatively affect the operation of the appliance. For this
reason, the appliance should be regularly descaled.
1. For descaling purposes, use a solution of water and vinegar or commercially
available descaling agent. Follow the product manufacturer’s instructions.
2. Fill the water tank with the solution.
3. Run the production cycle.
4. Using fresh water, conduct 1
–2 more production cycles, to remove all residues
of descaling solution.
CAUTION!
Dispose of the produced ice cubes; do not use them for cooling beverages
not food products!
