The chargers may only be used outside the hazardous areas.
Charge the main battery
Note
Note that battery type B7-A2Z0-0006 with 7.4 V/2200 mAh may only be charged outside
the hazardous area. Use only accessories approved by BARTEC. Do not attempt to
charge damp/wet Mobile Computers or batteries. All components must be dry before
they are connected to an external power supply.
1.
Ensure the accessory used to charge the main battery is connected to the
appropriate power source.
2.
Insert the MC 9190
ex
-NI into a cradle or attach the appropriate snap-on module.
3.
The MC 9190
ex
-NI starts to charge automatically. The amber charge LED, in the
Indicator LED Bar, lights to indicate the charge status. See Table 4-1: Charging
indications.
Note
The main battery usually fully charges in less than four hours.
