Operation

The following chapters describe the operation of the Ex p control unit for the end
user. The configuration and setting description is given in a separate operating
manual.

The complete solution is self-starting after connection of purge gas supply and
supply voltage. System states can be queried via the WEB interface.

7.1

Web interface

The Ex p control unit is supplied with a fixed IP address as standard.

Standard IP address (delivery status): 192.168.11.101

The following options are available for establishing a connection between laptop
and PC.

Laptop (192.168.11.99 // 255.255.0.0)

Direct

Indirect

USB / LAN Interface converter

Ex p control unit (192.168.11.101)

Setting the LAN connection

The settings of the LAN interface on the PC (or converter / managed switch) must
be parameterised so that it can communicate with the Ex p control unit.
