DIGITAL VOICE AND SECURE DIGITAL VOICE - OPERATION

Settings

Security

From Settings < Security, the baud

rate of Digital Voice encryptions can

be fixed by selecting Digital Voice

Baud Rate.

It can be fixed to Auto, 600/700bps,

1200bps or 2400bps.

Digital Voice Baud Rate

Enable Digital and Secure Voice in 4000 Series

Transceivers

From the home screen, tap Encod-

ing once to toggle digital voice or

secure digital voice on or off. Tap

and hold the Encoding button

to change between Digital and

Secure Digital Voice encryptions.

The orange label indicates the cur-

rent mode of the transceiver.
