3. Physical installation of a MiPIX display system

Use maximum two (2) prime-cable extension kits, in series, per controller output port. The maximum length
for the MDR data cable between the transmitter and receiver unit is 10 meter. So maximum 20 meter can be
bridged over between the output port and the first pixel block. Use in total maximum eight (8) prime-cable
extension kits per controller unit.
3.6 Using the MiPIX stand alone re-sync unit
How to use the MiPIX stand alone re-sync unit ?
1. Install the stand alone re-sync unit between two successive control units. Depending on the design of the installation you choose
the most suitable mounting holes. The distance between the stand alone re-sync unit and the control units may not exceeds five
(5) meter. So, the maximum distance between the two control units may not exceeds ten (10) meter.
2. Connect the output of the first control unit with the input of the re-sync unit, using a MDR cable with a maximum length of five (5)
meter. (image 3-14)
3. Connect the output of the re-sync unit with the input of the next control unit, using a MDR cable with a maximum length of five
(5) meter.

You can maximum connect five (5) stand alone re-sync units in series between two control units. This allows
you to bridging a distance of maximum thirty (30) meter.
