Situation
Solution
The Board ID of all other boards
are also NOT accessible. This
may indicates a malfunction I²C
functionality on the PMP board.
1.
Reboot the projector.
2.
Replace the PMP board. See "Replacing the PMP board", page 156.
Malfunction Fan Control board.
Replace the Fan Control board. See "Replacing the Fan control board", page 278.
Code 6046: “Board id: fan control board read error” (Error)
Situation
Solution
Malfunction Fan Control board. The
projector can not read from the
installed Fan Control board.
In case no other “board read errors” appears, replace the Fan Control board. See
"Replacing the Fan control board", page 278.
Malfunction internal RS485
communication line. The MCB, LIM
and CLO also reports “read errors”.
Disconnect the boards one by one from the internal RS485 line until this error disappears.
Replace the board which makes this error goes away. See chapter XXXX, to known
which boards are using the internal RS485 communication line. If the problem remains
replace the PMP. See "Replacing the PMP board", page 156.
Code 6047: “Board id: fan control board write error” (Error)
Situation
Solution
Malfunction Fan Control board.
The projector can not write to the
installed Fan Control board.
Replace the Fan Control board. "Replacing the Fan control board", page 278.
Code 6048: “Board id: motor control board unknown format” (Warning)
Situation
Solution
Old projector software installed. The
ID parameters of the Motor Control
board are written in a format which is
not known by the projector software.
Check if the version of the installed projector software is the latest available version. The
latest version can be downloaded from
https://my.barco.com
.
Motor Control board has invalid
fi
rmware.
Replace the Motor Control board. See "Replacing the motor control board (MCB)",
page 283.
Corrupt projector software.
Reinstall the latest projector software.
Code 6049: “Board id: motor control board not accessible” (Error)
Situation
Solution
Only the ID parameters of the Motor
Control board are not accessible.
The ID parameters of all other
boards are accessible.
Ignore this error message unless other functionality of the Motor Control board fails as
well. If so, replace the Motor Control board. See "Replacing the motor control board
(MCB)", page 283.

Solution
Disconnected wire unit between the
Power Distribution board and the
Motor Control board.
1.
Check if the wire unit (reference 1 image 5-9) is connected with the Motor Control
board.
2.
Check if the wire unit (reference 22 image 5-10) is connected with the Power
Distribution Board.
Malfunction Motor Control board.
The projector can not read from the
installed Motor Control board.
In case no other “board read errors” appears, replace the Motor Control board. See
"Replacing the motor control board (MCB)", page 283.
Malfunction internal RS485
communication line. The FCB, LIM
and CLO also reports “read errors”.
Disconnect the boards one by one from the internal RS485 line until this error
disappears. Replace the board which makes this error goes away. See chapter XXXX,
to known which boards are using the internal RS485 communication line. If the problem
remains replace the PMP.
