The 2 year (or 1500 hours runtime) maintenance actions, listed below, may ONLY be performed by certi
fi
ed
service personnel who are familiar with potential hazards of the product and all product safety checks.

Clean the air inlet of the anode fan. The metal mesh grid of the
cathode fan air inlet is located at the base of the Light Processor
compartment (underneath the Integration Rod).
Use a vacuum cleaner and brush.

Remove all dust inside the Lamp House compartment.
Use a vacuum cleaner. Do NOT touch
the Cold Mirror.

Dust in

Check the Cold Mirror for dust, burn damage, degradation,
cracks, etc.
Only clean the Cold Mirror in case dust
is clearly visible upon the surface of the
Cold Mirror. .
Replace the Cold Mirror in case of burn
damage, degradation, cracks, etc. .

Clean the metal mesh grid on top of the Lamp House.
Use a vacuum cleaner.

Dust in

Check the mask and the integrator entry for burn damage,
degradation, cracks, etc. Remove the Lamp House and look at
the mask and integrator entry via the Cold Mirror.
Replace the Integration Rod and mask
in case of burn damage, degradation,
cracks, etc. .

Open the dowser (shutter) and check the prism exit side for dust,
discoloration, damage, degradation, cracks, etc.
Only clean the prism exit side in case
dust is clearly visible upon the surface
of prism. .
Replace the complete Light Processor
Unit in case of degradation, cracks, etc.

If a porthole is used, check the porthole (both sides) for dust.
Only clean the porthole in case dust is
clearly visible upon the surface. Use
an optical cloth.

Clean the projector exterior (housing).
Report on cleanliness of booth!

Dust in

Check the condition (hot state) of the Light Pipe and prism by
looking for artifacts in the projected full white and full black
patterns.
If artifacts are visible diagnose the
Integration Rod. .
Replace the Integration Rod In case the
Integration Rod causes the artifacts.
Replace the complete Light Processor
Unit in case the prism causes the
artifacts.
10 Diagnostics
Check and save projector log/history
fi
les.
Note any irregularities and follow up.
11 Diagnostics
Verify projector date and time and correct if required.
See Projector toolset software.
12 Software
version
Check for the latest version of projector software. See user guide
of the Projector Toolset. The latest Projector software can be
downloaded from the secured Barco web site.
Upgrade the projector software with the
latest version. See user guide of the
projector toolset.
13 Info-T’s
Check if all Info-T’s are implemented. Note that the Info-T’s are
listed on the secured Barco web site.
If not, implement all Info-T’s and update
the projector service docket.
14 Cooling
circuit
Check the condition of the tubing of the liquid cooling circuit for
degradation, UV cracking, kinking of tubes, leakage.
Replace damaged parts immediately. .
15 Cooling
circuit
Refresh the liquid of the cooling circuit. (drain, re
fi
ll and expel air)
16 Electrical
connections
Check the torque values/general condition of all critical electrical
connections and components. Use a torque wrench to verify the
torque values of the critical electrical connections listed:
•
LPS OUTPUT PINS: 4 Nm
Do not release the nuts to check the
torque. Just verify.
