4.8 Setting up a BARCO Duet II System
4.8.1 Analog Output System Setup
Introduction
When setting up a System using the analog outputs on the BARCO Duet II, the video path will pass through 2 sampling stages, one
at the input of the BARCO Duet II and one at the input of both projectors.
The objective is to set the sample parameters of both sampling stages to the correct values in order to perform an adequate sampling
from the IG up to the projectors.
Initial Projector Adjustment
This procedure will insure a good visualization of the source without any “disturbance” or interference bars. This is done by adjusting
the Total pixels on the projector using a pixel On/Off pattern (Phase Adjust) generated by the BARCO Duet II.
1. Inside the
Installation
menu push the cursor key ↑ or ↓ to highlight

2. Press
ENTER
to select.
The
Internal Patterns
menu will be displayed. (menu 4-2)
3. Push the cursor key ↑ or ↓ to highlight
Phase Adjust
.
4. Press
ENTER
to select.
The Phase Adjustment pattern will be displayed.
5. Continue by adjusting the Total Pixels on the projector.
Note: Consult the Projector’s Owner’s Manual on how to adjust the Total Pixels on the projector.
6. Adjust the Total Pixels on the projector until the vertical interference bars are no longer present in the image. (image 4-6)
7. Press
EXIT
will save these settings.
8. If necessary adjust the Phase by using the
PHASE
key on the RCU to remove the noise.
