International Safety Standards

Standards overview

This equipment is built in accordance with the requirements of the international safety standards IEC60950-1, EN60950-1,
UL60950-1 and CAN/CSA C22.2 No.60950-1, which are the safety standards of information technology equipment including
electrical business equipment. These safety standards impose important requirements on the use of safety critical components,
materials and insulation, in order to protect the user or operator against risk of electric shock and energy hazard and having access
to live parts. Safety standards also impose limits to the internal and external temperature rises, radiation levels, mechanical stability
and strength, enclosure construction and protection against the risk of

re. Simulated single fault condition testing ensures the

safety of the equipment to the user even when the equipment’s normal operation fails.

This device complies with Industry Canada licence-exempt RSS standard(s). Operation is subject to the following two conditions:
(1) this device may not cause interference, and (2) this device must accept any interference, including interference that may cause
undesired operation of the device.

The radiated output power of the Barco Wireless Device is below the Industry Canada (IC) radio frequency exposure limits. The
Barco Wireless Device should be used in such a manner such that the potential for human contact during normal operation is mini-
mized.

IC Antenna statement

Under Industry Canada regulations, this radio transmitter may only operate using an antenna of a type and maximum (or lesser)
gain approved for the transmitter by Industry Canada. To reduce potential radio interference to other users, the antenna type and
its gain should be so chosen that the equivalent isotropically radiated power (e.i.r.p.) is not more than that necessary for successful
communication.

This radio transmitter 9393B-R9861510 has been approved by Industry Canada to operate with the antenna types listed below with
the maximum permissible gain and required antenna impedance for each antenna type indicated. Antenna types not included in this
