Change the default Configurator password
Barco strongly recommends changing the default Configurator password. Anyone with malicious intentions
who can access the Base Unit locally or via adjacent networks will definitely verify if the Base Unit
’ s
Configurator can be accessed to extract valuable information like e.g. Wi-Fi credentials.
3.3 Basic Workflow
Before using C-10, C-5
1. Unpack your device and accessories from the box.

2. Install the Base Unit in the meeting room using one of the possible installation methods.

3. Connect the video signal between the Base Unit and the display, see “ Video signal connections to the
Base Unit ” , page 47 .
4. Connect the Base Unit to the mains power.
For more information, see “ Power connection ” , page 49 ,
5. Connect a network cable between the Base Unit and the local network (make sure the Base Unit is
connected to the internet to be able to reach the update server )
6. Configure your device (can be used without configuration but is not recommanded)..
7. Register you device online to obtain your SmartCare package.
