Loosen the screws of the fixing plates.

Remove the fixing plates.
6.
Push the old front screen backwards out of
the housing.
7.
Hold the new front screen on the sides and
carefully place it in the correct position.
8.
Ensure that the rubber seal sits correctly in the
slot provided for this in the housing and is not
damaged.
9.
Check that there is no gap of light between the
front screen and the housing.
Fix the front screen with the fixing plates.
10.
Support while screwing the fixing plates with
a little pressure on the furthest outside edge
of the front screen.
11.
Check the Scanner components (e.g.,
mirror, optics, or housing parts) for dust and
blow the Scanner down as required with a
light, oil-free stream of compressed air.
