#4 Removal of the cloth front
Remove the cloth front
- Use the white gloves to avoid smudging the cloth front. Remove the cloth front by
carefully pulling out at each corner and at the same time pull it downwards
(see
➢
1).
Mount the cloth front
- Use the white gloves to avoid smudging the cloth front. Reinstall the cloth front,
by holding it at the corners, and then push it towards the TV and upwards. You
can easily feel if the cloth front is not in the right place.
#5 Removal of the contrast screen and cleaning the BeoVision 1
Remove the contrast screen
- Use the white gloves to avoid smudging the contrast screen. Turn the screws
below the glass 90° in each direction (see
➢
2). Pull down each screw,
please note
that the contrast screen will fall outwards, but it will
not
fall off (see
➢
3). Remove
the contrast screen by holding it up straight onto the TV and then pull it outwards
a bit at the lower righthand corner and the top lefthand corner.
Mount the contrast screen
- Use the white gloves to avoid smudging the contrast screen. Check that the picture
tube and the inside of the contrast screen is clean.

for more information. Mount the glass by holding it at the
lower righthand corner and the upper lefthand corner onto the TV. While holding it,
push the right screw up. Then push in the glass in the lower lefthand corner, and
push up the left screw. Fasten the screws (see

2).
Clean the picture tube and the contrast screen
- To clean the picture tube and the contrast screen use a mild window cleaning
fl uid. Make sure no streaks or traces of the cleaning fl uid are left on the screen.
Clean the product
- Wipe dust of the surfaces of the BeoVision 1 using a dry, soft cloth. If necassery,
remove grease stains or more persistent dirt with a fi rmly wrung lint-free cloth
which you have dipped in a solution of water containing a few drops of a mild
detergent.
