The BeoCom 6000 handset

The handset is automatically switched on when placed in the

charger. If you switch off the handset, you cannot make a call and

the handset does not signal incoming calls.

Display overview

Depending on the state of the handset, different messages can appear

when you press OK. Turn the wheel to view them.

The battery requires recharging.

The signal between handset and base is lost, or

there is no power to the base.

No line is available, or the plug-in unit is not

connected to the socket.

There are 5 new Caller ID calls.

There are 117 free entries in the Phonebook.

The handset has a personal Phonebook, Redial

list and Caller ID list, all stored and updated by

the handset instead of the base.
