the heating is on. Above the set target temperature, the LED

flashes slowly and the heating is off.

– The yellow LED will light up steadily as soon as the target tem-

perature and the actual temperature are the same.

– The red "!" LED will flash if the working temperature exceeds

85 °C.

5.7 Setting the power

The power can be set in accordance with the desired intensity and

sonication task.

Requirements

• The ultrasonic oscillating tank has been filled.

• The mains plug has been connected to an earthed mains socket.

• Device is switched on. The green "O" LED on the temperature

scale lights up.

Procedure

1. Press the power setting button repeatedly until the desired LED

is displayed between 20 and 100 %.

Information

– The current power is indicated by an illuminated yellow LED.

– The last selected power setting is saved when the unit is

switched off and used again when the unit is switched back on.

– The power should be set to 100 % for foil tests and for degas-

sing the sonication fluid.

5.8 Avoiding retardation of boiling

At temperatures above 60 °C, the ultrasound is activated automat-

ically for 3 seconds every minute to mix the fluid to avoid retarda-

tion of boiling. This function cannot be switched off. You can

configure the system so that this function is always active when

the heating is switched on, even at temperatures below 60 °C.
