Section 4 - Configuring the Serial Server

Logging In

You can log in to any serial server listed in the Server Information Table.

To log in:

Select the row associated with the desired serial server. The

Login

page

appears.

Type the password into the

Password

box. The default password is blank.

Navigating the Configuration Pages

There are two ways to move from page to page in the Vlinx Manager
Software: by clicking a specific link, or by clicking

Back

to move

through the pages sequentially.

Note:

Always remember to click Save before leaving a page to ensure your settings are saved.
