CLEANING AND STERILISATION
•All Physio Brushless 3000 components can be cleaned with a cloth moderately wetted
with alcohol or moistened with water. The screen-printed graphics of the central unit
panel should only be cleaned with a cloth dampened with water only.
•The drill, along with cable and connector, and the contra-angle holder are autoclavable
at a maximum temperature of 135°C.
The drill can undergo a minimum of 1000 sterilisation cycles in an autoclave.
Autoclaving temperature: 134°C for at least 3-4 minutes; Pressure: 2.3 bar; Relative
humidity: 100%; Total cycle time: 20 min.
IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS FOR MICROMOTOR STERILISATION
The life of the micromotor is affected by the number of sterilisation cycles. As a result,
the following precautions must be observed or the warranty will become null and
void.
Always insert the supplied cap on the micromotor, wrap the cable without creating
bends and insert it in the appropriate bag before placing it in the autoclave. Use only
distilled water in the autoclave, do not use demineralised water.
ROUTINE MAINTENANCE
For the maintenance of the contra-angle, observe the manufacturer's instructions.
•At least every 6 months, check power cable and drill cable for abrasion or breakage.
If you find any such damage, have the component replaced at an approved centre.
•In the event of faults or malfunctions during operation, switch off the equipment
immediately and contact your dealer. Report the type of defect and locate the
authorised service centre in charge of your area. If there is none, contact B&B Dental
S.r.l. directly.
•Under the regulations in force, the equipment must undergo a periodic safety
inspection every 2 years.
