DANGER / ATTENTION
Check if the following parts are present and check their condition:
gasket (15) in the buffer tank, gasket (16) inside the butterfly
valve body, washer (17) and pin (11) in sleeve (8).
Once the maintenance operations have been completed and after
checking the correct positioning of the electrodes (diagram of
electrode/ionisation probe adjustment), proceed with the reassembly
of the combustion head as follows:
• Check that the pin (11) in the sleeve (8) is aligned with its seat on the
gas delivery connection (30).
• Check that copper washer (17) is present in sleeve (8).
• Insert the whole mixer assembly, positioning the lower part of the
gas delivery connection (30) in its seat, with gasket (15).
• Tighten screw (14) with its lock nut (13) until it reaches its seat (18)
and continue for a further half turn (180°).
• Tighten screw (7) with its lock nut (6) until it reaches the sleeve (8),
proceed slowly checking that the pin (11) fits correctly into its seat in
the gas delivery connection (30) (tightening torque 26 N/m).
• Fit screw (12) inside screw (7) and screw until fully home.
• Now continue to tighten the screw (14) to a tightening torque of 6
N/m.
• Tighten screw (5) with its lock nut (4) until it reaches its seat (30) and
continue for a further half turn (180°).
• Insert the ignition and ionisation cables (3) in their respective
terminals and check the correct position of the two cables in the
housing (29).
• Check that all electrical terminals are properly tightened, especially
those on the main power supply.
• Proceed to close the burner by correctly positioning the gasket
supplied and tightening the four screws (1).
CAUTION / WARNINGS
When closing the burner, gently pull towards the electrical panel,
putting the two ignition and ionisation cables slightly in tension,
then arrange them into their housings (29) (figure 2).This will
ensure that the two cables do not get damaged by the fan during
burner operation.
