MAINTENANCE
Analyse combustion gases and check that the emission values are
correct at least once a year, in compliance with current law.
• Clean air dampers, the air pressure switch with pressure port and
the relevant pipe, if any.
• Check the electrode condition. Replace them, if necessary.
• Have the burner and the chimney cleaned by specialised personnel
(stove repairer); a clean burner is more efficient, lasts longer and is
quieter.
• Check that the fuel filter is clean. Replace it, if necessary.
• Check that all components of the combustion head are in good
condition, have not been deformed and are free from impurities
or deposits deriving from the installation environment and/or from
combustion.
• In order to clean the combustion head, its outlet components must
be disassembled. During reassembly make sure to centre exactly
the flame disk with respect to the diffuser. Check that the discharge
generated by the ignition transformer takes place exclusively
between the electrodes.
• Analyse combustion gases and check emissions values.
Most components can be inspected by removing the hood. To inspect
the head you must disassemble the component-carrying plate which
can be hung on hung on the burner body in two different positions to
make work as practical as possible.
The motor, transformer and solenoid valve are connected via a
connector while the photo-resistor is push-locked into place.
If it is necessary to clean the outside of the combustion head, take out
its components according to the procedure described:
Undo the lid screw to gain access to the interior of the burner.
Undo the four screws of the plate, as indicated, in order to access
nozzle, electrodes and pre-heater (if fitted).
The plate may be fastened in two different ways; the suggested
fixing is the one in figure 0002932930D.
