CASAMBI
®
is a modern lighting control solution that is based on Blue-
tooth Low Energy (BLE, 2.4 GHz) and can thus be operated directly with
mobile devices with no additional gateway per app.
The free CASAMBI
®
app allows the intuitive commissioning and opera-
tion of one or several luminaires in a network. There is no need for the
complicated and costly installation of control cables, and the network
can be expanded or scaled at any time.
End users with no prior knowledge of the system can very easily set it
up, change it at any time and adapt it to their specific wishes. The lumi-
naires or controls will be shown in the app as soon as they have been
integrated in the CASAMBI
®
network where they can be configured and
operated. Several luminaires can be combined into groups. The controls
can be assigned to individual luminaires or even groups of luminaires.
The individual luminaire elements together form a mesh network in
which the control signals are passed on from luminaire to luminaire.
This means that the switch does not necessarily have to be within the
CASAMBI
®
Mesh Network (Bluetooth Low Energy, 2.4 GHz)

repeater
reception range of each luminaire. If you would nevertheless like a greater range, an additional repeater can be
installed as a signal amplifier.
With the CASAMBI
®
CBU-DCS Passive DALI Controller, luminaires from a CASAMBI
®
network can be integrated
into a DALI network and controlled via the DALI bus. The module has no power supply of its own and must be
supplied via the DALI bus (9.5 − 22.5 Vdc / 5 mA). For on-site installation, an installation box with strain relief is
recommended.
The network can be protected with both administrator and user password. The luminaires can be controlled by
the customer through the user profile. The administrator profile, on the other hand, allows an individual network
configuration as well as an extended control via scenes, sensors and time control (we protect each pre-program-
med network with administrator and user in the factory).
