CC-Link IE Field Basic

General

CC-Link IE Field Basic is an open fieldbus based on Ethernet technology. The Ethernet

technology allows traditional Ethernet cables to be used. CC-Link IE Field Basic is designed
for star topologies only.
A traditional 100Base-T switch is entirely sufficient here.
Due to the switch integrated into the CIB module which enables a star topology, line
topologies can also be realized. This means that you can connect multiple CIB modules
together in a string.
