7.1 Diagnosis and troubleshooting
7.1.1 Power LED
If a power supply is connected to the module and the
Power LED is not lit, the power supply is not connected
properly or is providing a different power supply than
expected.
7.1.2 Status LED
The status LED informs about the following states by
alternating between two colors:
– Connection status of IO-Link device
– IO-Link radio communication status with the IO-Link
master

Alternating blue and green
Both the IO-Link device communication and IO-Link
wireless communication are functioning properly.
Alternating magenta and green
The IO-Link Wireless Bridge is disconnected from the
master while the IO-Link device is properly connected to
the IO-Link Wireless Bridge.

Scan the IO-Link Wireless Bridge again and pair it with
the master via the web server.
Alternating blue and yellow
The IO-Link Wireless Bridge is successfully paired with the
master, but the IO-Link device is not properly connected to
the IO-Link Wireless Bridge or is not fully functional with
the IO-Link Wireless Bridge.

Check the connectivity of the IO-Link device with the
IO-Link Wireless Bridge.
Alternating magenta and yellow
Both IO-Link wireless communication connections of the
IO-Link Wireless Bridge are unpaired and the IO-Link
device is not connected or not functioning.

Switch module off and back on.

Reconnect the IO-Link device, scan and pair the
IO-Link Wireless Bridge.

7.2 Repair
Repairs to the product may only be performed by Balluff.
If the product is defective, contact our Service Center.
7.3 Disassembly
Only disassemble the device when it is de-energized!
7.4 Disposal
