7.5.2 Switching Signal Configuration (SSC)
The BML has 4 switching signals integrated into it. Each
switching signal is written by the parameters

specifies the position of setpoints SP1 and SP2.
SSC
Configuration
specifies the switching function. The BML
has implemented the switching signals as Single Point
Mode, Window Mode and Two Point Mode according to
the Smart Sensor Profile.

Two Point mode does not take into account the
Hysteresis
parameter. This mode is similar to Single Point mode, and
the hysteresis is defined by the distance between SP1 and
SP2.
The measurement value configuration must be
finished before starting the switching signal
configuration, (see Sec. 7.5.1)!
In SIO mode SSC1 and SSC2 are set to the
outputs OUT1 and OUT2. For configuration of
OUT1 and OUT2 see Section 7.5.4.
