Analog sensors
SA
If the analog output is used as a voltage interface
(0…10 V), the load resistance (Q towards GND)
must be between 1 kΩ and 10 kΩ. If the output is
used as a current interface, the shunt resistance
(Q towards GND) must be between 0 and 400 Ω.
The value actually displayed (4 digits) depends on
the connected sensor. It is a continuous analog
value and usually not linear.

The system generally works with only one defined switch-
point: object or fill level (half of active surface covered with
medium) reliably detected. If the measurement falls below
the switchpoint by a small amount, the output switches to
off .

Separate teach-in of switch-on point (menu 2 SP1) and
switch-off point (menu 2 SP2). The switchpoints can be set
very wide apart, e.g. to control a min. and max. (fill level).

Dynamic operation

The system responds only to adequately fast changes to
measurements (moved objects). Static conditions (back-
ground) are permanently eliminated with a long time cons-
tant (output off).
No additional adjustments are necessary.
