7 Defrosting mode (only applicable to the model with heat pump for cooling and heating).
7.1 Frost is removed by reverse of the 4-way valve.
7.2 Conditioner for entering in the defrosting mode:
Ｋ After the unit gets started (in the heating mode) or every time the defrosting run ends, calculated from the
time when the heating run continues for 12 minutes, the drop in the coil temperature amounts to at least X
(X is 5.5 for 2501, 6 for both 3301 and 3201, and 7 for 4801), and the coil temperature reaches below 40
.
Ｌ In the heating mode, the difference between the coil temperature and indoor ambient temperature
(at the air intake) is less than 10 , and maintains for at least 5 minutes;
Ｍ The coil temperature 40 and maintains for at least 90 minutes.
