EXPANSION BOLT INSTALLATION

Note: Expansion Bolts are required when there is not a wall stud to

screw the wood screws into.

TOOLS NEEDED:

-Hammer, Screwdriver,

Level, Pencil, Drill

and 1/4 Drill Bit.

With a screwdriver, press down firmly and turn the bolt clockwise until the barrel crimps against

the inside of the wall and the bolt starts to slip. Unscrew the bolt just enough to allow you to

hang your item.

THEN

Determine the desired height and location for your item. Use a level to ensure the item is perfectly

horizontal. Use a pencil to lightly mark the screw holes onto the wall. Determine if the pencil marks

are located on a stud. If there is no stud, drill a hole through the pencil marks with a 1/4 drill bit.

Lightly tap the Expansion Bolts (A) into the holes and sink the teeth into the wall surface.
